Basically, I have converted VHS to DVD-RAM using my Panasonic HS2. I am now trying to improve the original source material by using virtualdub etc... to improve the quality and then copy it back to a DVD-RAM disc to play back on my HS2, but I don't seem to able to do it.
In detail, I have done the following;
Loaded DVD-RAM (Using LF M621e DVD MUlti Drive) and using MPEGVCR, I have edited part of the VRO file and saved it to my hard disk. (Using MTVmagen and DVDMovieAlbum SE 3, I can then save it back to a DVD-RAM albeit this is before I have done any enhancements)
Next, I have loaded the VRO file to Virtualdub, used the filters, compressed using DiVX5.1 codec and created a AVI file.
I have then used TMPGenc to convert back to MPEG2 file (DVD PAL)
Finally, I used MTVmagen to create an Mtvfile and tried using DVDMovie Album to save it back to the DVD-RAM.
I then get an error message
"as invalid format was found in the files, the part of the files could not be recognised" which stops it.
Being a complete novice, I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Can anyone advise or help me please.
