Joking, but seriously, I was there the other day and I clicked the link to one of the supposed groups and got two viruses instantly! Luckily AVG was there to the rescue but still, I will never try and join ANY yahoo group again!!!!![]()

Well that's what you get for trying to join a group called Mydoom.

What is the point in writing viruses? What is the author of Mydoom proving? What can he/she gain?
I'm sure if this person were found out, I could guess what they'd gain.....

Are you saying that the antivirus people might encourage this behaviour? Imagine if it was proven that one of the big companies were up to this. My money's on Norton - they always seem to be on top of things....

We send and recieve shitloads over here, and the jokey ones, the ones that get sent around and around and around are, in my opinion, created by the telecommunication companies, the networks providing the service.
And at ten pence each ($.018 flasystus) why wouldn't they?
Good business sense, they have an army of fifteen year olds to make them a shitload of money!
Willtgpo, my real dad, told me to make a maximum of 5,806 posts on vcdhelp.com in one lifetime. So I have. -
I think that most people in the computer industry believe that computer viruses are created by people with connections to virus protection programmes. It makes sense. No viruses = No need for Norton / Macafee / AVG / etc.
