  1. I only use my DVD burner for backing up data. I use DVD+RWs for regular backups, but I like to use +R for other things. I just got my DVD burner (Lite-On LDW-811S) not too long ago.

Local stores don't have much to chose from when it comes to blank DVD media. THey only seem to carry Memorex, which I don't want to buy after having so many problems with their CD-RW disks. I picked up a 5pack of Fuji 4x DVD+RW when I was out of town.

I haven't found any DVD+R yet, so I've been looking online. I see that most people like Ritek (Ridata). I mostly use +RWs, so I don't need a huge spindle of +R disks. Newegg has a 10pack of 8x +R disks by a company called Legacy.

Has anyone had any experiece with these disks? Every place I've looked online that has Ritek, you have to buy a minimum of 25.

    I did find a 10pack of 8x Ridata at dvdxshop.com:

I've never dealt with this company before, are they trustworthy?

If I have to buy a 25pack of +R I will, but 10 will last me a while. I bought a 50pack of CD-R when I got my first CD burner years ago. I still have 15 disks left from that pack.

Edit: Posted wrong URL by accident.

  2. They seem reasonable going by the entries in the MEDIA list to the left - do a search for Legacy in there and you will see most people who used them rated them as better than average.
