  4. I recently upgraded to mmc8.8 and am having the exact same problem. My card is the AIW 9000 which worked perfectly with the 8.00 version but is echoing with the 8.8.

The other thing I notice that may be causing a problem is that win 2k now says that I have a primary and a secondary 9000 card when ther is only one agp video card installed.

    Any thoughts?

  5. Echoing is usually due to not haveing the correct audio input selected. You might want to re-run the initialization wizard (setup->display->initialization wizard)

  6. Go back to MMC version 7.9, and that will solve your problem. If you want to stop the echoing, mute your Line In sound, but you're still going to have horrible audio synchronization issues.

Do you know where we can get v7.9? I am having the exact same problem with 8.8.
