  1. i was just wondering i copyed a dvd and it works perfectly but when i go 2 dvd decrypter and rip it again it has read sector errors anyone know wat i can do bout this

    Why don't you re-rip your original? Probably the burn of your first copy didn't go all that well...

    I don't think there is a need to rip. Can't you just open the dvd and drag all the files to the HD, since it is not protected anymore? Maybe I'm wrong but it's worth a shot right?

    Correct - There is no encryption on the files after the first rip.

    Fair chance there'll be read errors still though - If a ripping prog can't read it I don't like the chances of windows. Make sure that the disc is absolutely free from dust and scratches and possibly try a different DVD-ROM at your mates place or something.

    Good advice.

    If you have a CD/DVD cleaner, try using that on it, even if the DVD looks fine to your eyes.

  6. try spraying some pledge on the disk and wiping it down. works for me
