Just upgraded to pinnacle studio 9 from studio 8.

Getting this message after rendering........


The DV deck could not be initialized.

Check that the cable is connected and the power is on.


My hardware hasnt be touched so how comes ime getting this message now???

My understanding is that PS9 supports some limited devices. In new update they will add more.

The following hardware is supported in the initial release of Studio 9.0:
Studio DV/OHCI 1394, Studio AVDV, Studio Deluxe, MovieBox USB, MovieBox DV, Studio DVPlus, Studio DC10plus/Studio AV, Linx USB/Linx USB Plus, ATI Radeon AIW

The following hardware will NOT be supported until the release of Studio 9.1. All users will be notified once version 9.1 is available:
MP20, MP30, PCTV Stereo (miniTV), PCTV (emptyV), PCTV Sat, PCTV deluxe USB, Dazzle DVC80, Dazzle DVC90, Dazzle DVC150, Dazzle DVC150 B
