  1. I have been using svcd2dvdmpg to put svcd files onto dvd this has been working great, but now i want to do the following:

    1) SVCD to DVD using svcd2dvdmpg
    2) Multiplex AC3 file as the audio

Now i was thinking of mulitplexing using tpmpeg but this rewrites the header which is what i dont want.

Any one have any ideas how i can do this?

No need to multiplex. Input the video and AC3 audio into your authoring prog seperately.

  3. This is the problem i use Ulead DVD Workshop v1.3 and

    1) it only accepts program streams.
    2) importing 5.1ac3 re-encodes to 2chAc3 if i choose the replacement file option

BUT if i multiplex the files together before importing into dvd workshop then the audio is left alone.

This is why i want to multiplex.

You could use SVCD2DVDMPG and output to elementary streams and use IFOEdit to mux your audio with your video, at least IfoEdit is free.

You need to get a DVD authoring program that supports elementry stream imports including all flavors of AC-3 audio.

    For example:

    TMPGEnc DVD Author
    DVD-Lab

Those are probably the two most popular that don't cost an arm and a leg.
