  1. I've burnt about 20 dvds with starlogic media, the ones at officmax for 10 bucks total a few weeks back, burnt at 2x.

DVD-9 to DVD-5, DVD-5 to DVD-5, SVCD TO DVD using SVCDTODVD...

The last 20 minutes or so start to chop up really bad, start skipping insanely...in bunches of dvd players, tested in apex, norcent, sony, panasonic...

(Using SVCDTODVD or DVDShrink, burning with NERO 6)

Is it my media? Programs? Source? DVD Players?

    Anyone else having similar problems?

    Thanks for the help...

  2. The media you are using is made by PRINCO, so that is your major problem. If it is acting the same on all of those different DVD players, then you know it is the media. Try burning the discs at 1X and/or using files less than 4 gigs and see if that helps.

Try not burning past 4200 mb of the disk.

  4. Thanks for the tips guys, but losing burning space means lesser quality video :\

And why is PRINCO bad? Are those kinds of media known for having problems? Cheaply made? That explains why I got them for 10 bucks after rebate for 50. :\
