    Does anyone know what a TDK indiDVD 420N is a rebadged of? I plan to use a bitsetting so I can burn dvd-roms with it, but I have no idea where bitsetter to use.

    Rebadged NEC ND-1100A. You need to flash the firmware to be able to use bitsetting. Examples of ND-1100A firmwares that support bitsetting are the HP 3.10 firmware and the FSC 1.E4 firmware. The latter is newer and has better media support but has a 10x CD read limit. You'll find the firmwares and instructions here.
