  2. Yeah maybe-but it had you worried for 10 months(19 May 03 the Pioneer AO6 announced) and you still seem very quiet about DVD+R DL

I would not take it for granted that HP and Dell will definitely follow on the PC fitting front.

It's not surprising news as Benq(their joint venture partners) have followed a similar line for their retail drives

DVD+RW/R has little to fear this year from having dual format capability in DVD drives as 2.4x DVD+R DL will be at least 8 months ahead of 1x DVD-R DL which, when launched is likely to be competing against 4x DVD+R DL.

Pioneer , by all accounts may be launching their AO8 with 16x DVD+R and only possibly 12x DVD-R or 8x DVD-R and no DVD+R DL support. Can't see many ofthose flying off the shelves in July.?

Here comes PhilipL again, DVD-MINUS and Pioneer troll, singing hymns to DVD-MINUS format and bitching about Philips and DVD+ format.

PhilipL, can you tell me please where can I buy 4x DVD-RW disks, cause I am already burning 4x DVD+RW disks for more than six months, but I can't seem to find any 4x DVD-RW disks.

    Please, PhilipL, help me!!!!!!!!!!

I hope you're still not pretending to be one too.

I seem to remember Pioneer getting egg on their face last May?
