I've been using CloneDVD very successfully but one thing baffles me.
I can encode a movie that lasts say 1hr 45mins in about 20 mins but then
a 1hr 30movie might take 30 minutes. Why is this? Thanks.

Maybe the complexity of the video?
Anyway, you're not "encoding" a movie, but instead, are transcoding.ICBM target coordinates:
