    I downloaded 2 movies from morpheus
    on one it plays fine and there is a picture
    on the other one, there is sound but no picture
    it is in avi format
    i have tried it on windows ME and win2k
    any ideas
    the one that plays is in avi format also
    any suggestions appreciated

    i had the same problem not too long ago. i just reinstalled my codecs and that took care of it. give it a try...

    Are you sure the have the right codecs installed? Right click the avi and check the summary for needed video-codec.

    Have you installed the smr patch, if not try it. I remember a similar problem and I *think* installing the smr patch should sort it.
