    I just got my new 107 writer and am curious which IDE mode is the one that I should use???

    Ultra DMA (mode 2) 33 or Multi-word Mode 2

    Most drives tend to prefer Ultra DMA if available. I also found this on their website:

    Provides Ultra DMA (Dynamic Resonance Absorber) for handling imbalanced discs during high-speed recording and playback
