Apex 1500 with surround sound

I read somewhere that the Apex 1500 doesn't perform too well when hooked up to a surround sound system (I'm assuming they were just referring to the audio).

Is this true?

My Apex 1500 works great with my surround sound stereo shit. Dun know what is wrong with everyone elses

I recently purchased the AD1500 and had it plugged into my home theatre system in about 5 minutes. One thing you must do though is follow the instructions in the owner's manual to set up the player to output the dolby digital. It does not do it straight out of the box (very simple using the on-screen menus).
