    If I have an ogm file and I use subrip to extract the subtitle portion from it, does it mean that the subtitle is removed from the ogm file?

    Usually, when you rip something it just copies it, and doesn't remove the original. I'm not sure in the case of subtitles - why can't you just play the file and check?
