Manual Chapter point creation

I am using Sonic's MyDvd4 that was bundled with my pioneer buner. I am converting 8mm analog ccamcoder footage to DV via my Canon Optura 20 and bringing it into MyDvd. It created one BIG chapter - How can I manually create the chapter breaks where I want them ? Does the new MyDvd5 Deluxe allow this ?

Read the manual or the help file. It will tell you how to add chapter points in there.

the only thing I found was to check the box that would automatically create chapter breaks every 5 or so minutes. That won't work as it breaks footage at the wrong place. Thsi is the bundled version - is it somewhat more limited as to this function ?

Sorry, the only version of MyDVD I ever used was 2.3 (I Think). That certainly allowed me to set cahpter points anywhere I wanted. Just select the movie, move a slider to where you want the chapter and click, new chapter point.

I would expect the same kind of functionallity in version 4 (or 5 etc), bundled or not.
