I've had this problem for a while now. I thought at first it might be due to using PCM audio and high VBR but this last time I checked the m2v file using bitrate viewer and the max bitrate was only 6386, so if the PCM audio stream is only 1536 that combined is still less than 9.8Mbps which is the industry standard for combined max bitrate on topset DVD players. Yet, when the fast foward function freezes on my player, the max bitrate shown on the screen using the display function is 10.1. Is this a problem with my Toshiba player or is this a problem with the encoding, muxing, burn? Any help would be appreciated.
