Hi, I just want to convert divx to DVD, but there are a lot of options in TMPGenc like CBR, VBR, Manual VBR, 2 pass VBR, Automatic VBR, CQ, and I don't know exactly what option to use. Someone could tell me please, wich one is the best?? Thanx

There is no best, each is used for different things. It all depends if you want 'Best Quality' or a specific size. It also depends on how long you wnat to wait.
CQ is a good compromise between speed and size.To Be, Or, Not To Be, That, Is The Gazorgan Plan -
Hi... I've always used CBR, and I don't really what's the diference with CQ. Apparently, it sounds like the same thing... or not?

For best quality versus file size -- use CQ.
For accurate file size -- use multi pass VBR.
For best quality versus speed, in both cases -- use "Motion search precision:" = "High quality (slow)". -
Thanx, I'm gonna try to use CQ, to see the results... I just like if someone could tell me please, in the setting for Constant quality, there is an option to use quelity from 0 to 100, and I don't know wich value to use. Also I don't know how much to use in minimum bitrate and maximum bitrate.
