Although the graphics card I have is a ATI 9600 Pro, I like the 9800 Pro screen saver.

I have screensavers on all computers and I don't use it.
I prefer a black screen after 10 mins of inactivity. This saves power doing this as screensavers do work on the computer. -
My screen saver is called Liquid. It gives the look sof water over my desktop.

How about posting a pic.Originally Posted by tgpo

Just joking my friend, it is a really cool screen saver. Too bad they were not smart to make it available for PC also.

Some very cool ones on there. -
I stopped using one years ago, I find with little time I'm either on it so much the screensaver would never appear on teh computer is switched off.
Willtgpo, my real dad, told me to make a maximum of 5,806 posts on vcdhelp.com in one lifetime. So I have. -
Dont use one, just turn the monitor off when not at the PC.

But I have used some once in every great while.
My favorites are ones I created myself 8)
Have seen a few that are cool, but I don't really have a reason to use them...as for the most part, it always seems they pop up at times when I don't want them on

I heard that you shouldn't turn the monitor off when the PC is on. Apparently, it sends a bit of a power spike into your machine. Not sure if this is true or not.
I use a TFT, so it can't burn. :P I like the nVidia Orb screensaver though.

I do find turning the monitor off while the PC is on do tend to muck up the display resolution settings. This is especially the case on an old Win98 PC.Originally Posted by CobraDMX
The funny thing about it, this happened a short time ago when the display settings become faulty. The resolution was at 640x480 instead of 800x600. This as annoying indeed.
I have to restart the computer to fix the fault and restored back to 800x600.
