For some reason my computer will not let me open any files ending in ".dll". Can anyone tell me if I can correct this problem other than a fresh install of windows. I am on XP Home. I would really appreciate the help, thank you sooooooooooooo much.![]()

What do you mean "will not let you open"? Are you getting program errors when they try to open or use a DLL, or is it that you can not see them in explorer?
Why would YOU need to open a DLL? These are typically called by programs and not initiated/run directly by a user.
What is it you are trying to do and what happens when you try to do it? -
