It has been a while since I've used it....and my prior scenario was different.
Using DVD Shrink to take bits a pieces from various Philips created DVD's...I made seperate folders for each "song".
While importing either via DVD or File to DVD Author....it shows that there is NO AUDIO.
I renamed the .vob to .mpg....now the audio is there in DVD Author.
Am I going to have audio problems with my finished product in DVD Author?
Do I NEED to use Rejig to fix my audio?
The songs are short and there are SOOO many of them....I just thought I'd get some advise from those who have done this already.

Thanks in advance if you can help.

The other thread I was following didn't exactly answer so I'll re-open this thread.
Could the fact that I used DVDShrink 's start/end option to reauthor my disc be the cause of the problem?....that being that TMPGEnc DVD Author does not recognize my audio?
The audio is AC3....which TMPGEnc DVD Author does accept correct? I tried adding the .vob's AND tried renaming them to .mpg and both show up in TMPGEnc DVD Author with no audio.
Is the fact that I did not have chapter points in the original disc be the cause of my audio problem?

Thanks again if you can help.

  4. its likely because you used the start/end function. Baldric had a post up about this a while back. evidently you can clip the end just fine but if you move the start point it results in an invalid AC3 file. I think he fixed the audio using AC3Fix or a similar tool. I'll find the topic and post it for you.
