  1. Well, I'm from brazil and I am new when the subject is burn dvd's. Its all so complicated but I am trying to figure it out.

My problem is. I bought on the internet a DVD (Madonna's Blond Ambition Tour) and was home made by some one. And wasn't done well, since the menu's are crappy and the quality of the media that he use it is not good. So I decieded to "remake" the DVD adding new menu's, chapters and everything more.

So what I did was rip off the DVD with dvdshrink, then using DVDlab I add the video files and then after making a menu drag the 3 .vob files. So, it was kind of 3 movies all together. Then I connected the movies so I could do a play it all in once. Ok then, the problem is that in the cd it contained 2 more .vobs that at the time I didn't have a clue for what they were. Their size was small and they didn't contain any videos, but a still image.

Ok, I didn't add them. The problem now is that the .vob files that contain the videos have the resolution of 352 X 480, and the vob files that only have a still picture of have of a logo have the resolution of 720 X 480.

When I decied to burn all the videos together it says that the files have different resolutions and that won't play correctly at a dvd player. Then if I take off the 720X480 .vob files, it says that the move is T1 and won't play correctly?!

Does any one knows what am I doing wrong or what can I do to correct it?!

    Thanks!
    Help me... please!!!

  2. You will have to get the newest version of DVD-Lab and use the VMG method instead of the VTS. There is a guide on the mediachance website that explains how to build a VMG project.

A DVD can have multiple resolutions on one disc, however, everything in one particular VTS must be the same. You will have to create one VTS with the 352 res and another with the 720 res, and merge them together. Again, the guide on the website will walk you through this.

Go here for the newest version. You want 1.4.1 beta 1.
