i am so happy to find this site. anyway, i hope someone can help me on my problem.

i bought AHHOO dvd player model no. DVD-288 last year. for three months, it works well. it can play all kinds of dvd and vcds be it region coded or not. but afterward, it started to behave unusually.

this time while i can play all kinds of cd/vcds, however, it can no longer play almost all of my dvd discs. i have already let it repaired by an expert/techician two times, but after a week or two, it goes back to its unusual behavior.

please help me what to do with this? i learned about firmware/diagnotic tool here. is my player has that kind of firmware/tool? by the way, in its manual, it said it has software intelligent upgrade. what does this mean? by the way, the homepage of the manufacturer for this player is located at http://ahhoo.com.cn. i tried to contact this site, but got no reply.

i hope through this forum, i would be able to stabilize the dysfunction/unusual behavior of my player.
