    do you guys think that every standalone dvd player for sale today, this year, 2004, that sells at places like bestbuy, circuitcity, etc, will be compatible for the dvd-r format? not dvd-rw, dvd+r, dvd+rw


    just wondering.... cuz i am very low on cash, and planning to get the cheapest dvd player available...
