I am trying to set my ATI mmc 7.6 to capture at specific times using the built in ATI scheduler. The scheduler kicks off at the correct time, but uses the incorrect video/audio source. In the Timer recordings setup, I set the source to be composite, but when the recording starts, it automatically jumps to cable/coax input. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling but cannot seem to get anywhere.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried a higher version of mmc? The last version I had with my AIW 7500 was 8.5 which worked MUCH better than 7.6. I'm only running a PIII 1 GHz but it seems to work well...

I believe I tried that once before. I received all kinds of errors when starting MMC concerning missing programs and such. It was more a pain in the ass then it was worth.. Maybe I'll try again.

  4. That's a known issue, and it's still in the latest MMC 8.8.
The workaround is to create a new scheduling entry every time you want to schedule a recording: if you try to edit an old schedule entry, it will always switch back to the tuner.
