  1. I know i have seen someone post this typic before and it seems too long to read to get to the real stuff. Hope you know what I mean. So I put up a new one, We got to find real comparison between these two as they are becoming closer to each other. Not to mention, their price, their quality... Well... of couse, there are so many other new brand came out of market, like i heard long tech, matrix (don't know the maker just like the matrix), princo, prodisc, ...

but as far as i see, there are no difference lately with anything i purchased. So anyone has a clue if there are any differences???

    Check this out,

they have the opto for 0.89, of couse, that is crazy to buy 1000 pieces and don't have a clue wht they are thinking to put that up.

    and

they have the "RITEK #1 REWARD", don't know if that really matters.

So, any real differences? Please stay with the topic, don't drag too much.

  2. CoolRain,

If you read the reports on OptoDisc in the DVD Media section, and comparing to the all Ritek reports, you will see that OptoDisc cannot compared to Ritek other than the new OptoDisc 4X.

I like to experiment other media manufacturers and sometimes give them a chance, but sometimes it very frustrated to get a "coaster" after almost 40 min. burning. The time wasted frustrated me much more than the money I lost on the coaster.

It the same things with the CDR/CD burner scene about 5-6 years ago. Nowadays, it's quite hard to created a CD coaster, no matter how fast or no matter what media you bought off the shelves. I guess the DVD media/DVD burner has not matured yet.

    Just my thought.

    Cheers,
