Use of 700meg CD-R's

Anyone else have issues playing VCD's written onto 700meg CD's?

If so / If not: What players are you using?

I have used a few 700MB ones on Apex 600a.

I use the 700 meg disks all the time and have no problem with them. I use mostly Maxel and they are ok. I have 2 jvc dvd players and a panasonic one too and they all play them

I have a philips dvd711 and it plays 700mb discs perfectly fine. I use memorex brand as well as tdk, maxell, verbatim, and a few others. I avoid dysan and imation, I haven't had good luck with either.

what dvd player and what brand of media are you using?

there are various types of burning media, so the problem could be the brand you are trying.

My Apex 703 plays 80 minute Verbatims perfectly. I have also had success with PNY discs.
