  1. After upgrading from Win98 to WinMe I must reinstall everithings and svcd2dvd too.
Must I use the second registration?

And if something is wrong and I should reinstall Win98 or WinXp I must pay another time to install it again? I think not...but?

HW configuration it's always the same, exactly the same, nothing has changed.

    Thanks

  2. If you need to reinstall all your software cause you install WinMe clean then you might need to register again. See how it goes, if you got trouble email Chris and explain what is going on.

If you have problems with WinMe then it depends on your system which you should isntall then. If you have machine with RAM 512 and a PIII 800 or PIV processor i say go for WinXP else stay with Win98 cause you might get frustrated by waiting..

  3. Thanks, I'll wait for Chris.

Problem is an IRQ or a driver conflict that often hangs my PC working with win98/Me or xp.
I'am looking for solutions but everytime I need to reinstall an OS and the most useful programs.

I need to install and try it on the same PC but I don't want to loose my money for these trying.

  6. Blackcatgoodluck,

If you have a copy of Win2K or WinXP, I suggest that you upgrade to these 2, and save you the hassle to re-register SVCD2DVD, when you upgrade the OS in the future.

I don't want to scare you, but WinME gave me (and also lots of people in this forum) headaches and heartaches. After upgrading to Win2000, all the bugs went away. Let me put this way, Microsoft pulls WinME off the shelf, and no longer offers it.

Just want to save you some headaches...

    Cheers,
