I've downloaded this particularly troublesome TV capture in XviD format which I'm trying to convert to SVCD. It plays perfectly in PowerDVD but in Media Player Classic, there is an immediate and significant audio sync problem - audio too early.

I didn't worry too much about it and just extracted the audio with GoldWave, checked the lengths of the two streams to make sure they were the same length which they are within a couple of ms and then did the normal TMPGEnc re-encode as I normally do. The end result however ended up with the same sync problem as was seen while playing with MPC. Then I thought TMPG might be having difficulty decoding the video quickly enough so I tried frameserving it through VDub instead. No difference. Next I thought it might be a bug in the latest beta 3 of XviD I have installed, so I reinstalled beta 2 again. Now when I try playing it with MPC I get this pop up...

I've never seen this before. What does it mean and does it have anything to do with why I'm getting a sync problem?
