    trying to backup certain dvd's with dvd shrink i get message saying dvd shrink encountered problem failed to read file D:\ copy protection error the read failed because sector is encrypted. i can't get the same dvd's to copy using dvd x copy express. can anyone give me any advice on how to get round this.

    Are you decrypting the dvd first using dvd decryptor or another ripper?

    use DVD Decrypter to rip first.

    Use AnyDVD to bypass protection.

    Not sure if it works with Shrink but it works with Instantcopy, CloneDVD etc.

    Removes Macrovision and Region Protection.

    Rip with smartRipper or DVD Decrypter.
