  1. What is a MVCD and how does it differ between all the others (KVCD, VCD, SVCD)?

  2. The14thGOD,

Please, look at the top of this page. There's a "Search" box. Type in "MVCD" and enjoy...

    Here's a link I found within a few seconds:

VCD and SVCD have certain specs regarding bitrate, resolution etc. Anything outside of that is considered an XVCD (mpeg1) or XSVCD (mpeg2). Kwag has his own TMPGEnc templates for making XVCD's and XSVCD's which he calls KVCD or KSVCD. They squeeze many more minutes on a CD than the standard but there is a problem with DVD player compatibility. Some people like 'em, some don't. He has a website if you're interested, do a google search.

As for MVCD, I have no idea but it might be similar.
