  1. Hi all, the problem is, ive downloaded a .bin problem is i run svcd2dvd but when i put the AVSEQ02_DVD in to mpgenc it's still 480x480 and not dvd conpliant? No matter what i do i can't get it to change.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated, thankyou.

    You are going to have to convert the 480 x 480 to DVD format (see the DVDR section at left). Once you convert it properly, your video should display properly.

  3. The point with svcd2dvd is that it keep the svcd resolution but add tags etc, thus making it dvd compatible. Valid resolutions for dvd is (ntsc)352x240, 480x480 and 720x480.
    Use tmpgenc to reencode it, if you like, but the pic quality will be degraded.
    If you author with svcd2dvd you don't have to anything, just burn.

    Remember not to select 480 x 480. The video will be elongated.

  5. I guess melkor meant 720x480 as dvd resolution. (in tmpgenc u can go to settings -->Advanced --> Clip frame and adjust aspect ratio)
