I bought some CompUSA 1x DVD-R's while they were on sale a little while ago. They are Identified as PRINCO DVD-R, however when I look at the full media code (DVDInfoPro) there are slight differences between the one displayed and the one listed.

What do these differences mean exactly? Since they are both the same brand/media/speed/etc? Thanks for the help.

It has always been my theory that the small differences in the media code might be for the same media that maybe has updated their dye, or switched the manufacturing process slightly.
Like those might be series j and series l discs.
It's just a theory, but it makes sense to me. -
I was actually thinking the same thing. But would this mean that the updated version of this media may have solved some of the reported problems from users? The Bad burns dont make me as nervous as the possibility of the media being unplayable after awhile. Thanks.
