    Hi, I've got an AVI file (Master and Commander of Far Side of World) encode with Divx5.0 codec. When played in PowerDVDxp or Windvd it plays fine. But when use Ulead MediaStudio Pro 7 , TMPGenc 2.520 to convert it to mpg it will stop halfway through the process. Or even use VirtualDub to resave the Avi file, it still stops halfway? What is the problem and how can it be fix??? Anything more powerful than VirtualDub??

    DivX 5 is a troublesome codec. Use AVI FourCC Code changer to change the associated codec for playback. Try DIV4/DIV4.
