I recorded a few Dilbert episodes and encoded them using the Windows Media Encoder 9 and they turned out great. I then used a MPEG cutter (Canopus) to cut the commercials and the mpeg turned out great, worked in DVDLab, but when I tried to encode them in the Media Encoder 9, it stops encoding and says it's done at the first place I cut the mpeg.
I've tried using DVDLab's "rewrite GOP timecode" tool, but didn't seem to have any effect. What other tools could I try on this MPEG to make Windows Media Encode not care that I had cut it? Thanks for any incite into this.
