  1. HELLO...I'm a newbie to dvd authoring and need help. I captured video and edited with ulead video studio 7.0 and then used tempgenc dvd author to author dvd. my question is after all project was put together size was just about 4.4g. I saved the project and it is in video ts folder. thought I would be able to resize it in dvdshrink, but about 30% into analyzing it I get an error that it can not decrypt vob files., which I don't understand, since they are not encrypted to begin with. How can I shrink my already dvd compliant project to fit on 1 disc. I made this same project on a standalone and it is only 1 hr and 20 minutes long. when I authored it I added some titles between clips that maybe total 2 minutes of time. are the audio files of my clips taking up too much room? how can I cut down on the space and fit onto 1 disc. thanks for any help

It certainly looks like, What format audio are you using, LPCM? If so consider re-encoding the audio only to Ac3 or mp2. This would probably require re-authoring though, maybe even require you to use a different authoring package.

dvdshrink version 2.3 will let you shrink the files down without the decrypt error, dont dont confuse this with dvdshrink 3.0b which gives you the error,i tried telling other people and they dont understand to use dvdshrink version 2.3.

You can use BeSweet with the BeSweet GUI. Its not the easiest thing in the world to use but there is a guide to using it for Ac3 creation somewhere in the user guides forum.
