    hello:

    I have never been able to run ati mmc 8.x in widows xp

    I always get the following message

    AtiSServ LogManager Failed to Startup

    I have looked at the registry and the everyone and admiinstrators all have the correct permissions.

    are there anyway to get around this problem?

    Remove all, update all components, then reinstall all ATI MMC?

    Sounds like you added MMC 8.x without updating WMP9, DX9 or ATI drivers/components.
