  1. I have made and played vcd's on my sony dvp ns400d.But I have used the tmpgenc encoder to try and make svcd's and burned them on nero, and I get a no disk message. Why can I play my vcd's and not svcd? The sony dvpns-400d does play according to the compatability chart. If you can help thank you.

    I have the same problem with the same player. I am interested in the solution.

  3. I think you guys ought to go back and look at the compatability chart, SVCD is crossed out! Guess this player can only handle MPEG-1!!
