Most everywhere I look online, I see 50-pack and 100-pack spindles.

    Everywhere I look locally, I can find 3, 5, and 25 packs.

At the end of my post, I have some local stores and prices listed. The prices seem exhorbitant, especially considering the fact that I don't really know the quality of the discs (i.e., Memorex may not actually make the discs?)

Please point me to some places where I can find a quality 5 or 10-pack of +RW or -RW discs for less than $4 a disc.

I've heard that Taiyo Yuden are the best.

(Note: Staples has 2.4x for $3.20/disc, but for only 2.4x instead of 4x, I'd hope to get a better discount than that)

    -----------------------------------------------------------------
    OfficeDepot

    +RW
    3 Maxell for $20
    5 Memorex for $20
    25 Imation for $100

    -RW
    3 Maxell for $20
    5 Memorex for $20

    -R or +R
    Verbatim® DataLifePlus DVD-R Media Spindle, 15 for $34.23
(also has buy 1 get one free sale for a few more days)

    Staples
    +RW
    Imation 2.4x 25-pack for $80
    Imation 2x 5-pack for $25
    Memorex 4x 10-pack for $40
    Sony 4x 10-pack for $40
    TDK 2.4x 25-pack for $80

    -RW
    Imation 2x 5/Pack $24.99
    Maxell 2x 3/Pack $20.99
    Memorex 2x 5/Pack $24.99
    TDK 2x 25/Pack $79.99

    Amazon.com
    Memorex DVD+RW 5-Pack, $20
    Memorex DVD+RW 10 Pack 4x, $40

Should I just buy at RIMA.com and be done with it?

    Thanks, LordSmurf!

Are those really ±RW discs? Awfully good price, if they are.

No, those are ±R discs, not ±RW.

The cheapest ±RW discs are the CompUSA brand, 5-pack for $11.99, the +RW (2.4X) discs are made by Optodisc, and the -RW (1X) discs are made by Princo. Well, you get what you pay for.

    Ok, thanks.

I'm looking for a nice blend of cheapness and quality

I ordered some Riteks from Meritline. Those should be top of the line, and at a decent price, eh?
