I have just installed the Pioneer 106D DVD Writer and XP recognised it staight away. I have burned some discs fine but when I try to play a normal DVD or a DVDR in it XP just opens a folder with the video and audio TS folders, I can play the dvd I just have to open power dvd and play through there. In my computer the drive's title is just Cd Drive (E. I have another DVD player and that plays dvds and dvdr's fine - when I put the disc in it recognises as a DVD movie and I can choose which program to play it with and I want that to happen with the Pioneer drive - Can anyone help me?
My firmware version is 1.07 if that makes any difference
Thanks
Mark
