    How are the videos on the CD different from being on the HD? Why won't they play back directly from the CD?

    I find it difficult to believe that the solution is as simple as copying it off the CD...

    Well, smack my ass and call me susie, it's almost that simple. It still didn't work on my HD, but after demultiplexing everything is hunky-dory.
