    im am using the+ version uptodate and what i get at the end product is a dvd that works fine on the pc but on a toshiba 220 player a third of the screen split on my tv as in a line down the side with one third of the right hand side on the left???

    try changing the settings on your dvd player to PAN AND SCAN.

  3. Maybe you should check this one of the toshiba 220 isn't play svcd or vcd on dvd very well.

    the tosh i have is s 220e which states it plays svcd's can't understand why it will play fine on my pc but not on my dvd player. could it be something to do with the screen size or something?

    did you read my replay about changing you dvd display settings to pan and scan. I had the same problem and thats what it was?

    i have the same dvd player and was wondering what to patch to enable it to play correctly? I dont see a setting in my option menu for a pan/scan either. any help is appreciated. thanks!

    first of all: im not the guest that started that post
    2)i know this post is already a few months old but its still actual

    i also have the same problem, i also repatched the vobs (svcds) but i see the svcd 2 times on my tv...

    maybe somebody found a solution for this?
    does the region free firmware maybe help to solve this problem?
    (at the compatibility list a few persons reported svcd-dvd would work on toshiba sd220e... why doesnt it work at my one? )

    hope somebody can help me, thx in advance and sorry fr my bad english, i know it's not the best
