For people still having problems with Pan and Scan
this seem to work for me if the file is a vcd not an svcd
note you will lose some quality.
total time to convet a 550 meg vcd is 45mins on an barton 3200
1 use nero to convert the file to a svcd select nero image recorder instead if the cd / dvd drive this will let you save the image.nrg file to the hard drive. select rencode file
2 the image.nrg file produced till be really large eg 700meg vcd becomes a 1.3 gig svcd
3 open the image.nrg file( i use daemon tools to open it ) and lift the mpg file out of the MPEG2 folder.
Use svcd2dvd with the pan and scan fix and it should apply the sde headers you need to fill the whole screen with the picture
Happy New Year Chris
Great program
