Before anyone says it, yes i've read the thread about AZO DVD's, and by all accounts they are crap.

BUT, what about SUPER AZO's?? i've heard that they are very compatible, what do you guys think? if possible could any of you prvide a link to any info on these DVD's?

    Thanks in anticipation!

Oh, and a very merry Christmas to all!

  2. In my opinion it just sounds like some marketing blurb. Technically there is no such thing as Super Azo dye.

I would be cautious about any company that has to use pretend words like this to advertise their discs. Ritek discs use Azo dye but you never hear them advertising the fact, they let the quality of the discs do the talking.

btw.. whereabouts in the north west are you from?
RealaT Bytes, but that's what life is.

  5. Super AZO CD's were popular for the Yamaha CD-RW's with the Disk T@2 feature. I looked and could only find them in 16x. I don't know if they're made in DVD formats, however, but if memory serves Verbatim made the CD's....
