i did something very stupid and that was use DVDInfoPro to try and change the bitsetting using my pioneer 106d on a dvd+r disk. it said it was unable to perform it so i just thought nothing of it, but then my pioneer was making all these clicking noises and i couldnt stop DVDInfo Pro and i couldnt open the disk try on my 106d so i forced quit DVDInfoPro and the clicking noise stopped and my drive was fine. BUT.....what was my drive doing and will it affect my drive in any way, like laser durability? (it works perfect now and i knoe i did sumthing stupid)
