  2. Office Depot has Verbatim -R/+R datalifeplus discs on sale. A 15 pack spindle costs $29.83, buy 1 get 1 free. So that's 30 discs for slightly under 30 bucks before tax.

  3. I just came back from Best Buy and they have TDK-R discs on sale. 100 for $119.99. It's not listed in the circular, but that's the current in store price at the moment.

  4. No 50-packs, but here are some nice deals at Office Max: Until Saturday, KHypermedia DVD-R 10-packs, about 9 bucks after rebate, so 90 cents apiece. Not bad, just got some today and they're TDKG02000000. Starting January 18th, they'll have a $20 rebate on Imation DVD-R 25-packs, so final cost approx. $28. The last ones I got (3 weeks ago), they were RITEKG03.

My dad went to Office Max to get these KHypermedia discs withthe rebates. He bought multiple packs, and called the company to see if he could get multiple rebates instead of just the one. They tell him (of course) he couldn't do that, but then went further to refuse any rebates, saying the UPC was invalid (?) He ended up just returning them all, sounds like KHypermedia is kinda bogus.

I always thought that would be a good idea. If you had a booth by the exit at BestBuy, I'd give you all my rebates for $.50 on the dollar. I hate dealing with rebates. Strangely I have a buddy who won't buy anything unless it has a rebate! I always wondered if there are more people like me or like him. I bet the companies offering the rebates would balking at paying you for them. I'm sure they count on a big percentage of people not sending them in.

    peace.

    Hey guys,
Tomorrow 01/04 is the last day to buy Verbatim DVD-R or +Rin Office Depot. Buy one get one free for $29.83. But I just find out the new way to get the best deal.
Go to www.officedepot.com then you create an account from them. Search for 447220 for DVD+R or 449659 for DVD-R, then buy quantity 2, they will give the total over $60+, but then you put in the coupon code 25092162, then you will buy one get one free so the cost will be around $29.83.
Here is the trick, select pick up at the store near your house or where you can pick it up, and update the billing info, then it will come out $16.71 for 2 set of 15 DVD 2X. If you want to buy another set then you have to create another the account and do the same. You can come to the Office Depot pick it up and pay cash overthere. I bought it last night (3 sets)and burned over 10 of them and it works perfectly. (only problem with 2X is you have to burn 30 minutes so what, you save money.
Hurry up, you have one more day to order.
    :P

  12. I have had great luck with the generic orange top DVD -R's from PC Club. The are $19.99 for a 25 disc spindle and appear to be 4x Ritek G04's.
