I bought a 100 disk spindle of TDK 4x +R that all worked well. Simple theory on Ebay, use credit card, check feedback.

  3. I wouldn't buy media off ebay personally - 9 times out of 10 its overpriced or just plain junk. You get get better deals from vendors like rima.com and newegg.com that are reputable and have been proven trustworthy.

  4. Exactly. Alot of ebay storefronts are just online stores selling on ebay for more $$ & to get ad support. pricewatch.com can determine where to get the best price.

lots of regular people on ebay buy dvds through pricewatch.com & resell for more $$ .

Ebay is now populated by commercial sellers out to overcharge for the product and the shipping cost. If your looking at new product avoid ebay.
If it's a used item no longer being produced ebay is useful.
Like all "auctions" an item is worth exactly what the highest bidder is willing to pay.

  7. Ibought a 100 spindle pack of Princo DVD-R off e-bay. They cost about $1.2 each I recall. So far after burning about 40 of them, no errors at all and they play in all my machines. But since then I have bought all my media off meritline since I wanted +RW and +R media and meritline has good prices and quality media

US$1.2 but while they all burnt okay, at 1x they were glacially slow. I now use Digitalmatrix DVD+R 4X from Meritline at about US$1 each which are working fine on my Sony DRU500A. Also I have used their Richoh unbranded 2.4X DVD+RW with great success

I bought 5 Ritek +RWs off eBay for $10 with shipping. It was perfect for me since I only wanted a few re-writables to test things on. If I want a spindle of discs I wouldn't buy from eBay though.
