i updated my dvd player with a firmware update but the screen now freezes for about a second or 2 during watching a movie, this happens about 2 or 3 times, the machine is still under warranty but i think because of the firmware update this does away with any warranty left on it can anyone confirm this please

Theory: If the updated firmware was a official release from the company then it would be under warranty. If the firmware was a hacked version then DEFINATELY NOT UNDER Warranty.
