Hey Major,
I was using ffmpegX to convert a 12.4 GB DV file imported from my Sony digital camera (TRV-735) via firewire by Toast 6. I was encoding using the SVCD preset, and got to the end of the conversion (100%) and then before the bell sounded, I got the error message that ffmpeg couldn't find the m2v file. In my frustration, I forgot to save the output, but I'm positive that the entire file was encoded. The weird thing is, I have a MP2 file that I can play with iTunes. Sounds great as a matter of fact, but no video. Any ideas of what happened? With my slow G3 machine, it took approx. 48 hrs to encode this large file. I would like to recover it if it is hidden somewhere.
Thx.
JW
