  1. I bought a package of 30 DVD cases including inserts and software for $15 at BJ's Wholesale club tonight. That's less than half what most of the office stores charge....

  2. I ordered 100 double DVD cases from shop4tech.com the other day for $35 after 10% coupon. I'd stick to online stores for better prices.

  3. Thanks for the tip. That's a lot more than I'd ever need. At the rate I use them I'd need a couple of years to go through 100....

  5. Okay, so I got screwed!

The TWO CD/DVD media vendors at the computer shows here don't have the cases anyway. I've asked.

Everyone can find a better deal if he looks hard enough. The point is that for many people 100 cases would simply be in the way, taking up space and gathering dust. For me, 30 is a good number. For others, 10 would probably be more than enough. You have to weigh your volume against your storage space and decide accordingly....

  6. I purchased 20 DVD cases for $5.99 (buy pack of 10, get second pack free) from local PC Club Computers store couple weeks ago. That was the best deal I've ever seen so far. I just checked their website, and they still have them. But this item is available at local stores only.

Does anybody just put their dvd's in those large compact disc folder type cases? I have two of them that hold up to 200 discs each, and they only take up 1/100th of the space that my dvd cases took up.

  8. theyre only about £8 for 100 on ebuyer. Double DVD cases about £11 for 100. You can even get cases that hold 4 DVDs for 20p each(useful for series)

I like making the inserts so that they look like regular movie labels. They also make good gifts and keep them organized. I have a CD wallet that I keep my most commonly used software disks in. I also have a KDS CD tower, but I haven't used it as much as I thought I would when I got it.

That's a good buy. Unfortunately, there aren't any PC Club stores in our area either. So I guess I should have said originally that this was a great buy in the Jacksonville, FL area. Realistically, I'm sure they're worth just a few cents apiece....
